- 24 – During a Disney event the Kodak Theater, Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook and Johnny Depp announced that a fourth Pirates movie was in development. Depp took the stage in full Captain Jack Sparrow attire, while also wearing the Lone Ranger mask to announce his involvement in a Lone Ranger movie.[1][2]
