- 11 – The second day of the D23 Expo, hosted Walt Disney Studios chairman Dick Cook. In the final presentation, Johnny Depp made a surprise appearance in full Captain Jack Sparrow regalia, and officially announced Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.[1][2][3]
