The Bit 'n' Stirrup was a shop located in Port Royal. It supplied bits, bridles and other equestrian equipment for Port Royal's horses, including those used by the British Royal Navy garrison stationed at Fort Charles. A company of marines marched past the shop on their way to arrest Will Turner.
