- "Make ready! Set! Fire!"
- ―The lieutenant to his soldiers
This man was a second lieutenant in the East India Trading Company who participated during the War Against Piracy in the 1720s.
Biography[]
Not much is known of this man's life, except that at some unspecified point of his life he decided to join the East India Trading Company. He eventually became a second lieutenant under the leadership of Lord Cutler Beckett. This man was part of the forces dispatched to Singapore with Ian Mercer as they closed in on the Pirate Lord Sao Feng's bath house lair. The EITC second lieutenant fought in the battle at Singapore between Mercer's EITC forces and Sao Feng's pirates, commanding a squad of EITC soldiers. On this man's orders, his squad formed a suppression group and fired on Sao Feng's pirates, killing several of the Pirate Lord's men. Unfortunately for him, before he could give the order to fire a second time, an explosion of gunpowder caused by the voodoo priestess Tia Dalma killed him along with his entire squad, sending their bodies flying into Singapore's waters.[1]
Behind the scenes[]
The EITC second lieutenant appeared in the 2007 film Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End,[1] where he was played by an uncredited Jason T. Little.[citation needed]
