on the timeline for the films it lumps together the binding of calypso with the founding of the code as part of the first meeting when el chupacabra and i discussed the fact that the code was probably founded at the second meeting (in another fourum topic, pirata codex founding) which would put the first meeting earlier thanlisted on the timeline and as a seperate eventCaptain McSilver 02:44, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I have thought about when the three previous courts could have met. If we are to assume that the films take place around the 1730's or 40's, then the Third Court would have to have meet some sixty years earlier, since Barbossa claims that "theres not been a gatherin like this one in our lifetime". The Second Court met to set down the Code, and since it is generally agreed that the "Morgan" who set down the code with "Bartholomew" is famous pirate Henry Morgan, then it must have been when he was an active pirate, that is, during the 1660's or early 1670's. As for the First Court, I learned that the Dutchman is based off of Dutch ships from the 1620's, so it could have met during that time, give or take ten years or so. These are the estimates that I have come up with.188.8.131.52 16:25, 5 June 2008 (UTC)POTCFAN, 4 June, 2008.
Thank you! This is the exact point I've been trying to make all along, so i think that the dates saying when the meetings took place on the Timeline should be changed because of the fact that this theory is most probable because each meeting would have had an outcome(except the 3rd which ended badly).
