I have a question. According to the Pirates Timeline, it states that Jack was in the employ of the EITC thirty years before Curse of the Black Pearl. It also states that he was born fourty years before the first film. Are we then to conclude that Jack was working for Becket at age TEN? - We know that timeline isn't exactly accurate because we know that Jack Sparrow spent at least some of his teenage years hunting treasure, as told in Jack Sparrow series of books. As to his time in the East India Trading company, that was found here. --Wanderingshadow 14:35, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
