Gentlemen Jocard.

"Seeing as there's two of us, a gentleman...would give us a pair of pistols."
"It'll be one pistol as before, and you can be the gentleman and shoot the lady and starve to death yourself.
Jack Sparrow and Hector Barbossa[src]

Gentleman (plural gentlemen) was a title originally denoting a man of good family. It eventually saw use by members of the peerage, and generally in reference to any man of good, courteous conduct. The successful pirates were often called gentlemen of fortune.

The title was used by the Pirate Lord Jocard. Fitzwilliam P. Dalton III considered himself a gentleman.
