Pirates 3-4

A pirate with a knife.

"Now are you going to bet the pretty blackamoor's life on whether I can't pull this trigger, and if it doesn't fire, grab this knife out of my sleeve and slit her throat from ear to ear before you can get all the way across this room? I wouldn't chance it, Jacques."
Christophe-Julien de Rapièr to Jack Sparrow[src]

A knife was a cutting tool with an exposed cutting edge or blade, hand-held or otherwise, with or without a handle. It was sometimes used as a weapon by many individuals, including pirates in the Caribbean. Bootstrap Bill Turner owned a black knife, which he would give to his son Will Turner.[1] Blackbeard had been known to use knives during his pirate career.[2]
