I don't know if you are still any way active on this Wiki or if you've moved on to a new horizon, but I wanted to say I'm sorry for what's happened. Been around, but also not...one thing I can say for certain is that I only found out this Wiki's state just today. Had I known, I would've came in a heartbeat to help in some way. If I may provide an excuse (as useless as it is), here it is, the best I can provide in public posts. But either way, I'm months late and there are new captains of the ship, so I guess it doesn't matter.
Hope things are going well and you are still living a pirate's life.
Hello, J Fan. Well, I'm still closely watching the POTC Wiki, so we could say I haven't completely left. As for what happened, it's a complicated story, and it might be be better to tell it somewhere more private. You can still PM me on our old KeepToTheCode forum (yes, it's operational once again, though not very active), or you can contact me on Reddit, where my username is POTC_Wiki. Let's just say all is not lost, and despite what Mister Gibbs said, we still haven't reached the end of the horizon. Until we speak again, Keep to the Code!
Sorry for late reply, just got to checking. Well, I'm glad one of us is closely watching the Wiki. Sad to say, I haven't had much time (personal issues) or motivation these days, particularly given my latest hobby/interest. Private is fine with me. It would be nice to check out the old forum, since I recall it's been having on/off issues for years last I visited.
You've got a keen eye, mate. I never noticed that detail. Obviously, those two cannot be Pintel and Ragetti, because the crew did not include them in the film, but it's worth mentioning in the Behind the scenes sections of their respective articles.
Another small discovery (or perhaps you were already aware of this one): I noticed Pintel and Ragetti because I was listing the differences between DMTNT graphic novel and film on the ita POTC wiki. Another difference was that in the comic book Pierre Kelly seems to know Barbossa saying "Hector? Who invited you to my wedding?" .
While I was checking the wedding scene on You Tube to see if this question was present also in the film or not, I heard Lord Cutler Beckett music (the same used for Barbossa and Providence Crew in OST) when Barbossa and his pirates arrives at the wedding. So this track was used as Barbossa's theme also in DMTNT. This maybe means that this track has Barbossa's suite at all.
I am part of a group that is recreating POTCO in UE4, POTCS (Pirates of the Caribbean Stories). I really love this wikia and come around now and then. I tried to contact Teague via her website, but haven't got a reply yet, so now I'll try contacting you. Like I said I work on a project, but we look for the perfect logo. Like I said I come here once in a while and I am still amazed by your guys logo!!! And the custom scroll is amazing! So I have request, more of a proposal, could you guys send me the psd file so I can set the text for our project? The scroll itseld would be enough, I can make a text myself, but it would be nice if you could send the font color patern to me as well. Sorry if this is a weird question, but it is worth trying ey?
Well anyway may the wind be in your sails!
You can contact me on: email@example.com or reply here.
You already have a recreated POTCO, The Legend of Pirates Onlinehttps://tlopo.com/ As for the logo, I'm afraid I can't help you. I have no idea what the psd file is, let alone how to make one. I'm one of those users who were more oriented on editing articles than making technicalities work. Sorry.
The guy is called JoePlay, I don't know if he is stil active, if you know his private chat, would you mind mentioning me? If not please talk to other staff, I am sorry I ask this from you, but that logo is simply amazing
Thanks very much. Sorry for not replying earlier but as I said to Riverdale Chauffeur my personal life is a bit hectic right now and I don't have much time to devote to the Wiki, and even less to try to solve some bigger problems. Maybe in a few weeks.
I am here every day but my work is minimal due to my computer being broken and me being forced to edit on my phone. All I do is the most necessary work, like undoing the most recent vandalism in Elizabeth Swan's article, but until I get a new computer I won't be able to do more.
Hey Uskok, I just wanted you to know that you gave me some of the best advice I've ever heard on Fandom.
I used to type "was seen" so many times when composing articles. After you revealed to me that "was seen" does not make any sense, as, as you said, "was seen by who," it has helped greatly.
My formatting skills, editing methods, and paragraph styling has come a long way in part, because of you.
Your wiki was the first I ever edited. I just want to thank you for the tips you've given me.
Now, whenever I read "was seen," especially when it's on nearly every article on a wiki *cough cough* w:c:gravityfalls, I realize that it is not even remotely usable in a sentence 9 times out of 10 on any wiki.
I think that Lieutenant CommanderTheodore Groves's profile picture should be changed to a screenshot rather than a promotional image. That being said, I don’t have any suggestions for screenshots myself, but I think there should definitely be some good options.
Yes, but if you deactivate the badges feature, the badges you've won will not be gone. They will remain on your userpage. And if you one day decide to reactivate the badges feature, everyone will continue collecting the badges like before.
