The Ningpo was a two-masted pirate Junk that was part of Mistress Ching's fleet. Although its captain is unknown, it was under the ownership of Ching's husband, until he died, at which point Mistress Ching took over the fleet.

Etymology

Ningpo translates roughly to "Serene Wave".

It is also the name of one of the oldest cities in mainland China, dating back to 4,800 bc.
