- "Here kitty, kitty, kitty. Have a little ol' time rum with Old Bill, aye? Come on now, be a nice little pussy cat. Oh, you be a fiesty one you be."
- ―Old Bill to a stray cat on Puerto Dorado
Old Bill was a pirate. He was one of the many pirates who attacked Puerto Dorado, and one who drank in the Captain's Daughter in London. Old Bill was always seen trying to persuade stray cats into drinking rum.
Biography
Like most of the pirates, Old Bill ends up greatly drunk after drinking rum. During the attack on Puerto Dorado, he can be seen opposite of an exhausted pirate sitting on the other side of the waterway. Old Bill was also seen in the Captain's Daughter Inn in London.
Wherever he went, Old Bill was always seen trying to persuade a group of angry stray cats to join him in drinking a few rounds of rum, but with little success.
Behind the scenes
- Old Bill, portrayed by Boyd Clack, was going to appear in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides when Jack Sparrow runs into the Captain's Daughter tavern.[1] But for unknown reasons, Old Bill never made it into the final cut of the film. He appears as a deleted scene in the On Stranger Tides Blu-ray/DVD release.
