This article is about the musical cue. You may be looking for the term.

"Parlay" is a musical theme composed and conducted by Hans Zimmer for At World's End. It appears as track eight on the film's official soundtrack, at 2:10 in length, and track eleven of disc two, at 2:13 in length on the film's COMPLETE soundtrack.

Track description[]

The track begins with a rendition of Lord Cutler Beckett's theme, which builds throughout the track until around midpoint (01:01), where a cue inspired by "Man With the Harmonica" (by Ennio Morricone from Once Upon a Time in the West) begins. Beckett's theme continues to underscore as the main theme drops (02:10).

In the film[]

This cue accompanies the "parlay" scene between Hector Barbossa, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Cutler Beckett, Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones on the sandbar, representatives of the Brethren Court and the East India Company prior to the release of Calypso.
