Rob Kidd is the pseudonym used by a group of writers, including T.T. Sutherland, Rich Thomas, Elizabeth J. Braswell, Carla Jablonski, Rich Thomas, and at least one other writer. The pseudonym was mainly used for Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow (2006-2009) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Legends of the Brethren Court (2008-2010), the prequel series of young reader books based on the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and published by Disney Press.
The Internet Speculative Fiction Database catalogued twelve books as Jack Sparrow titles, of which it credits Liz Braswell as the writer of five, Carla Jablonski of two, Tui T. Sutherland and notes the others as "unknown". It catalogues four Brethren Court stories all credited to Sutherland.[1]
