Scotland is a country in northwest Europe and one of the four constituent countries of the Great Britain. It occupies the northern third of the island of Great Britain and shares a land border to the south with England. Glasgow is the nation's largest city. In 1707, Scotland and England were united into Great Britain.
Both "Bootstrap Bill" Turner and his son, William Turner, were born in Glasgow, Scotland.[1] Davy Jones was also believed to have hailed from Scotland, and retained his native accent up to his death.
