Sheep or domestic sheep are domesticated, ruminant mammals typically kept as livestock. One of the earliest animals to be domesticated for agricultural purposes, sheep are raised for fleeces, meat (lamb, hogget or mutton) and milk. A sheep's wool is the most widely used animal fiber, and is usually harvested by shearing.
During the search for the Dead Man's Chest, Jack Sparrow had sheep kept aboard the Black Pearl.[1] The ship carries a few live sheep and chickens for his table.[2]
