Smugglers were people who engaged in Smuggling. Smuggling, also known as trafficking, was the clandestine transportation of goods or persons past a point where prohibited, such as out of a building, into a prison, or across an international border, in violation of applicable laws or other regulations. There were various motivations to smuggle; most, but not all stem from potential financial gain. There were various smugglers' hideouts in the Caribbean, including Rumrunner's Isle and Smuggler's Notch.
