- "Alright 'Stupid'...beg your pardon."
"Barnaby."
"You've had fun with that pirate's Piece of Eight. So how about handing it over. Savvy?" - ―Jack Sparrow and Barnaby
Barnaby, better known as "Stupid" Barnaby, was a pirate thug and leader of a group of henchmen who lived in the Slums of Shipwreck City.
Biography[]
Little is known of Barnaby's life other than that he earned the nickname "'Stupid' Barnaby" and assembled a group of pirates serving as his henchmen who were located in the Slums of Shipwreck City. Shortly before the Conclave of the Brethren Court, "Stupid" Barnaby stole the Piece of Eight belonging to the Pirate Lord Sri Sumbhajee, who was in drunken stupor at the Cutlass Tavern. Barnaby would later be confronted by another Pirate Lord, Captain Jack Sparrow, who intended to take the piece back, so that the meeting could commence. Barnaby and his gang fought Sparrow, culminating in a brawl between him and Jack. Barnaby was defeated however, and the piece was taken from him.
Behind the scenes[]
- Barnaby only appeared in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
