An excerpt from The Art of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides:
- This early concept illustration by Dean Tschetter of the battle at Whitecap Bay portrays wraithlike mermaids who differ considerably from their final depiction.
So, given that this is the only name given to the battle in official POTC material, should we rename this page "Battle at Whitecap Bay"? Just thought I'd post this before doing such an action, as I'm sure I'd get backlash from numerous fans.(as a lot of fans loved this battle lol) --
