New video// full scene[]

You can watch on youtube or on yahoo movies a new clip of Pirates of the Caribbean 4!

Yes, we can include that, but we need one from Disney's official site(it's kind of better to do so). --CJSFan SigBlack Pearl, HMS Interceptor, Queen Anne's Revenge 21:35, May 3, 2011 (UTC)

Ships on a table[]

Are we sure this image belongs to this gallery? It looks to me like Lord Beckett's table in the captain's cabin of the HMS Endeavour.--Uskok (talk) 20:29, 19 July 2022 (UTC)

If I'm being honest, I can't remember. If this was indeed On Stranger Tides related, I'd presume it was on the Disney Second Screen app...thing. Unfortunately, I can't confirm this as I didn't have first-hand experience on it myself, as that was User:Captain Teague's contribution. Though I can't rule out the possibility that it was a simple mistake and it may be Beckett's table from the Endeavour. But again, I can't confirm it one way or another. -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 06:41, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
Oops, scratch that last bit. Going back to take a look at exactly where in the gallery, and it was in the "Website" section. I forgot what menu, but it may have some merit if it originally came from the Disney website. The only problem would be explaining what it is and from what menu. So we are still limited on concrete information, given Disney's tendency to change things without keeping the old for future reference. -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 06:49, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
Uskok is right. The image comes from At World's End. You can see the same map on Beckett's table with the name Isles Du Cap Verd (Cape Verde Islands) under the magnifying glass.--Black Caesar (talk) 15:54, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
Believe me, gentlemen, I don't disagree with either one of you. Logically speaking, yes, the image more than likely did come from At World's End, but I also cannot deny that the reason why it is listed in the On Stranger Tides gallery is because the image was taken from the official Disney website back in the OST website days. That's the only reason why I'm hesitant on making a move as far as switching galleries and such. Unless it would be appropriate to have the image added to more than one gallery perhaps? If nothing else, it is my intention to have a "DisneyPirates" article (based on the official website) made soon, so maybe we can add all images in such categories there. -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 21:46, 20 July 2022 (UTC)
Well, this wouldn't be the first time the Disney website maintenance crew messed up something (like Philip Le Blanc). I agree with using the image in the future DisneyPirates article, but I think we should also put it in AWE gallery, and if we keep using it in the OST gallery, we should add a note about the image being incorrectly attributed by Disney.--Black Caesar (talk) 17:19, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
Indeed. Apparently they like some images like to be reused in more than one medium, such as some of the Flying Dutchman art found in The Art of Pirates of the Caribbean are reused in The Secret Files of the EITC and The Pirates' Guidelines books as well as Barbossa's CotBP image which appears in pretty much all the current Visual Guides, including the OST guide oddly enough. But back to the matter at hand: regarding Caesar's suggestion, this could be an option, presuming we're all in agreement? Although I would suggest rather than putting the note in the OST gallery, we put it in the image file's summary/source area, as it seemed more appropriate as we make such notes before with some reusage. -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides, Arkham City 21:47, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
Putting the note in the image file's summary/source area will suffice, says I!--Uskok (talk) 22:07, 23 July 2022 (UTC)
